Location- Old Alton Bridge Park
The graffiti on the underside of the overpass, bridge supports and on the benches at Old Alton Bridge Park made for a huge eyesore. Easton worked with multiple government entities, mainly Denton County Road and Bridge to get this project done. He learned what "red tape" really means.
Everything went very well, no injuries, and the wildlife attacks were at a minimum. No one even fell into the river. Everyone had a great time painting and having fun. Some volunteers managed to get more paint on themselves and other people than on the bridge and benches... but their help was appreciated too.
Cumulative hours spent on the project totaled 85 hours. When the project was completed all graffiti was covered with a beautiful new coat of paint and the area is now pristine and ready to be enjoyed by all.
Easton asked us to thank everyone who contributed time, materials, money or refreshments to making the project possible. Thank you to all of the contributors of the project!
