Merit Badges Planned


In planning what merit badges to register for at scout camp this year, you may want to sign up for ones that will satisfy your needs and won't be replicated in our standard schedule. Below is a list of scheduled badges we will be working on for the next couple years excluding merit badge colleges.

May- Cinematography
June- Swimming
July- Motor Boating
August- Citizenship in the World
September- Astronomy
October- Communications
November- Model Design and Building
December- Emergency Prep


2012
March- Citizenship in the Nation
May- Environmental Science
June- Personal Management
July- Personal Fitness
August- Family Life
October- Citizenship in the Community

    I'm glad ya'll are working on required merit badges as that is the single biggest factor in most young men not attaining the rank of Eagle. Most of the young men love to do the elective merit badges because they are fun. To my knowledge, nobody has enjoyed getting any of the required merit badges.
