Hiking/Camping Trip November 4-5
Join us for a camp out and 4 mile hike November 4-5. We will be camping on family property 45 minutes away and hiking 4 miles Saturday morning to satisfy a camping merit badge requirement. We will be departing from the church at 5:30PM. Please be punctual and bring a back pack capable of holding as much of your camping gear as possible. BE PREPARED for both fall and winter temperatures. No sandals please. Scouts will need to bring their own dinner. Breakfast will be provided.

Fishing Merit Badge Nov. 2nd
We will be working on the fishing merit badge November 2nd at the city park behind Corinth City Hall off Corinth Parkway and I-35E. We will leave the church at 6:15PM. We will have bobbers, soft bait hooks and soft bait to catch catfish for those that don't have any. Please bring a fishing pole or two if you have them, but still come if you don't. We'll see you there.

More Slippery Falls Camp Pics
We appreciate everyone who helped make this scout camp a success both visible and behind the scenes. Thank you to Eric who spent the entire week at camp at one of the most inopportune times in his life. Thank you to Dan who was such a big help and committed so much valuable time. Thank you to Sam who looked great every day he was there. Thank you to Mark and Mike that played taxi and helped set up while we rushed the boys to swim check Monday morning.
The food was far better than the camps we have been to in recent years. We were even set up with flushing toilets and showers near by to wash off the dust and sweat from the 102 degree temperatures. Bottom line, we had a great time and can't wait to do it again.
